Lynn S. Liben Appointed Monographs of the Society for Research in Child Development (Monographs) Editor

The Governing Council and Publications Committee are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Lynn S. Liben as Incoming Editor of Monographs.  Her term will begin in January 2019 and continue through December 2024.

Dr. Liben received her B.A. from Cornell University and her Ph.D. in developmental psychology from the University of Michigan. She is currently the McCourtney Professor of Child Studies at The Pennsylvania State University where she is also Professor of Psychology, Health and Human Development, and Education. She has had extensive experience editing journals and books (e.g., having served as Editor of Child Development between 2003 and 2008, and as Associate Editor and then Editor of the Journal of Experimental Child Psychology between 1983 and 2002). She has chaired SRCD's Publications Committee, and is currently completing her term as Past President of SRCD.   

Dr. Liben succeeds Dr. Patricia J. Bauer, who completes her term in December 2018. She will begin receiving manuscripts for review on July 1, 2017.
