| Professional Member | One-Year Membership: $240 Two-Year Membership: $400 |
| Any individual interested in or actively engaged in research, teaching, policymaking, or practice relating to child development is eligible for Professional Membership in the Society. | |
| Early Career Member (5 Year Limit) | One-Year Membership: $95 |
| Any individual who has completed the terminal degree (Ph.D., D.P.H., S.Sc., J.D. or L.L.D., Ed.D., M.D., D.O., Sc.D.) in their discipline in the past five years and is actively engaged in research, teaching, policymaking, or practice relating to child development is eligible for a discounted Early Career membership in the Society during their first five years post-degree. SRCD is a diverse, international, interdisciplinary organization dedicated to supporting early career success. | |
| Graduate Student Member | One-Year Membership: $75 Two-Year Membership $140 (5% discount) |
| Any registered graduate student at an educational institution engaged in at least half-time study in child development, regardless of discipline, and who has not yet completed all requirements for the terminal degree in their field is eligible for a Graduate Student Membership in the Society. SRCD is a diverse, international, interdisciplinary organization that welcomes and celebrates graduate student involvement. | |
| Undergraduate Member | One-Year Membership: $55 Two-Year Membership: $105 (5% discount) |
| Any registered undergraduate student at an educational institution engaged in at least half-time study who has not completed all requirements for a bachelor's degree and is interested in child development research is eligible for undergraduate membership in the Society. SRCD is a diverse, international, interdisciplinary organization that recognizes the value of undergraduate student involvement –you are the future of our field! | |
| LMIC (Low and Middle Income Countries) Member | One-Year Membership: $5 |
| SRCD offers an LMIC (Low and Middle Income Countries) Membership for individuals residing in low-income, lower-middle-income and upper-middle-income economies (as defined by the World Bank) at a reduced rate of $5. Members will receive all SRCD publications, communications, and benefits. Eligibility is determined by your country of residency. | |
| Emeritus Member | Two-Year Membership: Fee Waived |
| Any individual of the Society who has been a member for at least twenty years and has retired from his/her position is eligible for Emeritus membership. SRCD values our dedicated career-long members and hopes you will remain actively engaged! There is no fee for emeritus membership but an optional donation to support researchers earlier in their careers or SRCD initiatives would be welcome. Emeritus members continue to receive all SRCD publications, communications, and benefits. Please contact the Membership Associate at membership@srcd.org to see if you qualify for this membership level. | |

Membership Cancellation Policy
SRCD membership may not be cancelled, unless under circumstances of hardship. All requests for hardship accommodation must be emailed to executivedirector@srcd.org. Please note that an administrative processing fee of $50 may be deducted from the total amount refunded.
