Governance Nomination Criteria

To serve as President-Elect, the elected individual must be either:

• a Professional member of SRCD (with a doctoral degree or equivalent), or
• an LMIC (Low and Middle Income Contries) member of SRCD (with a doctoral degree or equivalent)

 To serve as Treasurer, the elected individual must be either:

• a Professional member of SRCD (with a doctoral degree or equivalent), or
• an LMIC (Low and Middle Income Countries) member of SRCD (with a doctoral degree or equivalent).

To serve as Members-At-Large on the Governing Council, those elected and appointed must be either:

• a Professional member of SRCD (with a doctoral degree or equivalent),
• an Early Career member of SRCD (with a doctoral degree or equivalent), or
• an LMIC (Low and Middle Income Countries) member of SRCD (with a doctoral degree or equivalent).

Each nomination requires the nominee’s curriculum vitae and a brief statement of their interests and qualifications.

 To serve as a member of an SRCD Committee, appointees must be either:

• a Professional member of SRCD (with a doctoral degree or equivalent),
• an Early Career member of SRCD (with a doctoral degree or equivalent), or
• an LMIC (Low and Middle Income Countries) member of SRCD (with a doctoral degree or equivalent).

Each nomination requires the nominee’s curriculum vitae and a brief statement of their interests and qualifications.

To serve as a SECC Representative to SRCD Committees, those elected must be:

• in their second year of doctoral studies and beyond, but no more than one (1) year post-doctoral degree (or equivalent).

Preference will be given to nominees who have been an SRCD member for at least a year. Each nomination requires the nominee’s curriculum vitae.
