Black History Month is observed annually in February to celebrate and recognize the contributions and achievements of African Americans. It is also a time to reflect on the continued struggle for racial justice.

This year, SRCD had the opportunity to interview three members of the Black Caucus, Dr. Keisha Bentley-Edwards, Dr. Valerie Adams-Bass and Dr. Naila A. Smith to discuss their work with SRCD, developmental science and share what Black History Month means to them. Thank you for taking the time to speak with us and for sharing your stories with the SRCD community!
