SRCD Signs on to American Physiological Society Letter Supporting NASEM Study on the Influence of Systemic Racism in Academia

SRCD has signed on to a letter to House Science Committee Chairwoman Eddie Bernice Johnson supporting her call for a Study by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine on the influence of systemic racism in academia. This letter was initiated by the American Physiological Society. They note that “It is our hope that such a study will provide the data and tools that stakeholders throughout the scientific community need in order to make real progress toward a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive research workforce.”
