Once new dates are posted for each meeting, those unable to attend will be able to request full refunds. Cancellation deadlines will be extended appropriately for all meetings.
Thank you for your support and flexibility as we all do our best to navigate this unprecedented situation. If you have immediate questions or concerns, please contact our events team directly programoffice@srcd.org.
March 6, 2020 Update:
SRCD is closely monitoring updates from the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding the emerging public health concerns posed by the Coronavirus (COVID-19). At this time, neither organization has advised that travel restrictions are necessary for any of the locations where SRCD is holding special topic meetings (Puerto Rico and St. Louis). The CDC is working with state and local governments in the United States to implement aggressive measures to prevent the spread of this virus, and we are fully committed to taking appropriate precautions to prioritize the health and safety of our participants. Based on current information, we plan to hold the meetings as scheduled and look forward to seeing you there.
We recognize that some registrants are -- or may become -- subject to international and institutional travel restrictions that could prohibit attendance. We ask that those affected by the travel restrictions contact SRCD directly at programoffice@srcd.org.
SRCD will continue to monitor the situation as the meeting dates approach, and will provide email updates to meeting registrants as conditions change. Updates will also be posted to the SRCD website News section and the respective event pages for the meetings.
