Linking Administrative Data with Survey Data: Examples from the National Survey of Early Care and Education (NSECE)

Child Care & Early Education Research Connections will be hosting a free virtual data training series on effectively linking administrative data to survey data using the National Survey of Early Care and Education (NSECE).

Training will be provided by NSECE project staff using a web-based learning platform and video conferencing. Collaborative sessions will take place July 17-19 and July 23-25 with morning and evening sessions available. While this course uses the NSECE, the course focuses on skills which can be applied to other datasets.

This series is free, but space is limited! Researchers interested in using administrative and survey data to answer policy relevant questions in early care and education are encouraged to apply. Full participation in sessions (via video and audio) and programming experience in statistical packages such as SAS, Stata, R or SPSS will be critical to completing course goals. Those who complete the series will receive an ICPSR certificate of course completion.

Series Dates: July 17-19 and July 23-25
Morning Sessions, 10:30a-12:00pm EST
Evening Sessions, 4:30-6:00pm EST

Application Deadline: June 18, 2018
