Becca Murdoch is the Policy Manager at SRCD. In this role, she supports SRCD and its partners in advancing evidence-based child and family policymaking. Prior to joining SRCD, Becca completed her master’s in education policy at Vanderbilt University and served as a graduate assistant with the Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center and Metro Nashville Public Schools’ family and community partnerships team. Prior to her time at Vanderbilt, Becca was the Manager of Policy and Advocacy at the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) where she worked with legislators and other advocacy organizations to promote evidence-based education and mental health policies. She came to NASP after working for her home state Senator and Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee member, Doug Jones, on the education portfolio. Becca is a proud alumna of the University of Alabama and dedicated fan of their football team, the Alabama Crimson Tide.
