Thank you for your interest in a travel award. All travel awards were distributed in 2020, prior to the postponement of this meeting due to COVID-19. Those previously awarded will automatically roll over to the same individuals for the 2022 meeting if they plan on attending.
Therefore, we regret that the application site will not be re-opening. If funds become available, prior applications that did not receiving funding, will be re-evaluated. All 2020 award winners have been contacted about the status of their travel award. If you have further questions, please contact programoffice@srcd.org.
Criteria:
- Applicants must be from one or more groups that are traditionally underrepresented, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, country, culture, transgender, sexual orientation, first-generation college status, and disability status.
- Applicants must be an author on a symposium presentation, paper or poster accepted for presentation at the meeting that focuses on reducing inequality and is aligned with the mission of the William T Grant Foundation. Priority will be given to applicants who are the presenting author.
- SRCD membership is not required to apply, but by the time of the meeting in May 2022, awardees must be either current graduate student members of SRCD who have not received their doctoral degree OR early career members of SRCD who received their doctoral degree after January 1, 2017.
